Chikwendu Madumere a 1990 Law Graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). Whilst at the University he won the following prizes:- 1. CHIEF E.A.O. SHONEKAN prize for Best Student in Commercial Law 2. PRINCE BOLA AJIBOLA prize for Best Student in Commercial Law 3. GODWIN ADOKI Memorial prize for Best Student in Land Law 4. Best Student in Administrative Law He was called to the Nigeria Bar in December, 1991 having passed his Bar Examination with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) Thereafter, he also took a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. In addition he was one of the delegates of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK) that undertook a training course in International Commercial Arbitration at Keble College Oxford University in 2009, and he thus obtained a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration. He is currently the second vice chairman of the Abuja chapter, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with significant experience in Domestic and International Arbitration. He has conducted well over thirty domestic and international arbitration matters, sitting as sole arbitrator, co arbitrator and presiding arbitrator over disputes ranging from construction, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, mining and supply contracts. He has a Master’s Degree with distinction in Petroleum Law and Policy from CEPMLP, University of Dundee, Scotland and currently Managing Partner & Co-founder. Madumere and Madumere
